phylogeography and genetic diversity of the lesser mouse- eared bat (myotis blythii) in iran
in current study, 63 samples of bat populations collected from differ regions were used for evaluating the geographic variations. twenty cranial and dental characters for traditional morphometric and landmarks method on the ventral, dorsal skull and mandible for geometry morphometric studies were used. statistical analyses of traditional morphometric and geometry morphometric data indicated low...
Analysis of Genetic Diversity in Improved Varieties and Iranian Landraces of Alfalfa Using EST, POX, GOT and MDH Allozyme Markers
Genetic diversity of five improved varieties (Kaysari, Kadi, Ranger, Mesmir, Sea-River) and seven Iranian landraces (Gharayonje, Amozeynadin, Rahnani, Tazekand, Shazand, Hamedani, Yazdi) of alfalfa were assessed using Esterase (EST), Peroxidase (POX), Glutamate Oxaloacetate Transaminase (GOT) and Malate Dehydrogerase (MDH). GOT and MDH were monomorphic, whereas EST and POX showed polymorphic ba...

15 صفحه اولGenetic diversity and phylogeographic structure of Bactrian camels shown by mitochondrial sequence variations
The Bactrian camel includes various domestic (Camelus bactrianus) and wild (Camelus ferus) breeds that are important for transportation and for their nutritional value. However, there is a lack of extensive information on their genetic diversity and phylogeographic structure. Here, we studied these parameters by examining an 809-bp mtDNA fragment from 113 individuals, representing 11 domestic b...
متن کاملEquine Influenza A(H3N8) Virus Isolated from Bactrian Camel, Mongolia
Because little is known about the ecology of influenza viruses in camels, 460 nasal swab specimens were collected from healthy (no overt illness) Bactrian camels in Mongolia during 2012. One specimen was positive for influenza A virus (A/camel/Mongolia/335/2012[H3N8]), which is phylogenetically related to equine influenza A(H3N8) viruses and probably represents natural horse-to-camel transmission.
